I aspire to help nurture, inspire and educate tomorrow’s leaders. I value life experience on equal terms with the value of formal education. I hope to blend these two experiences to help produce valuable and contributing members of society. I recognize the importance of developing adolescents who want to contribute to the community, the environment and their own personal culture. I will provide a safe, happy and challenging learning environment for my students, their family, our faculty and our alumni.
As an educator, I will strive to incorporate real life experiences within a structured curriculum. Structured curriculums will be designed with each and every students abilities and needs in mind. I will foster an environment for inquisitive minds, that embraces curiosity, and I will use these strengths to educate children in reading, writing, math, science and the arts. Current events will be incorporated into the education process,
I strongly believe a healthy body and mind are imperative to a healthy learning experience. Exercises and experiences that build trust, confidence, and self esteem will be used on a regular basis. Formal education will go beyond the doors and walls of our school. I will embrace our community, our diversity, and our heritage, and I will use these assets to enrich the learning experience of my students. I place equal importance on both the individual and the community. I value what each student brings to the school. From a personal development standpoint, I value hard work, perseverance, integrity, and teamwork. I will strive to make sure each student reaches his or her goals, and I will offer support and guidance accordingly.
Each student’s voice will be heard, each paper and exercise will be read and all necessary adjustments will be made to ensure a positive, safe, healthy and happy educational experience for each of my students. I will ensure a safe, inviting and caring classroom, where curiosity and creativity flourish.
